“I used to rule the world…”<\/h2>\n

\u201c1,009,901,483 knows from where I am quoting this from, when I started writing this. By the time I am done writing this, another thousands would have heard this:\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cI used to rule the world, Seas would rise when I gave the word.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

I was at a Coldplay concert not a few months ago. It was one hell of a unique experience.<\/p>\n

But I don\u2019t want to talk about the concert. I want to talk about what I wrote above.<\/p>\n

How Coldplay Sparked Something<\/h3>\n

Coldplay was introduced to me almost a decade ago. From the first song I heard, I knew they were special. That first song was “Something Just Like This.”<\/strong><\/p>\n

There\u2019s something about their music that connects \u2014 something that sticks, that makes you feel.<\/p>\n

Why I\u2019m Really Writing This<\/h3>\n

Resilience. The strength to move forward. The understanding that today is just another day of another month of another year<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Being resilient means learning from everything you should not have done \u2014 but had to do in order to know why you shouldn\u2019t have done it.<\/p>\n

You should always evolve. If not, you may become another name in the \u2018Unfortunate 500\u2019 \u2014 like Nokia or Kodak.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

How Do You Resiliate? How Do You Evolve?<\/h3>\n

It\u2019s easy. And there\u2019s only one way to do it:<\/p>\n

Learn \u2014 and don\u2019t be afraid to try something new.<\/strong><\/p>\n

I changed careers multiple times before I found what I\u2019m good at: eCommerce<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Every time I made a change, people told me not to. But I had to try everything to discover what I was truly good at.<\/p>\n

Evolve. Learn. Try.<\/p>\n

You might rule the world today \u2014 or even be the center of someone else\u2019s world \u2014 but power is never permanent.
\nPeople evolve. Circumstances change. And power rarely stays with those who don’t adapt.
\nTo keep it, you need more than just strength \u2014 you need wisdom, humility, and the ability to grow with time.<\/p>\n

But above all, be humble<\/strong>.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The Final Thought<\/h3>\n

If you had everything under control yesterday, and you lose everything today \u2014 what are you going to do tomorrow?<\/p>\n

Be resilient. But be humble.<\/p>\n<\/article>\n
